Workshop offers tips to boost brain health

How healthy is your brain?

You can get tips on improving it, and reducing your risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia, at a two-hour workshop in Saanich on Oct. 6.

The Alzheimer Society of B.C. brings its dementia education series to the Gardom Room at Pearkes Recreation Centre, 3100 Tillicum Rd.

From 1 to 3 p.m. participants will learn how to work on brain health.

The free workshop is open to anyone interested.

It will be offered again on Oct. 20, also from 1 to 3 p.m.

Partial funding has been provided by Shoppers Drug Mart, Pfizer Canada Inc., RBC Foundation, Provincial Employees Community Service Fund, Manulife Financial, Hamber Foundation, Novartis Pharma Canada Inc., and Janssen Ortho Inc.
