Christmas shopping shuttle launches

The Downtown Victoria Business Association is relaunching its free shuttle to help get shoppers to stores without battling for limited street parking.

This year the route has been expanded to pass by several city- and privately-owned parkades.

The shuttle runs five consecutive weekends, starting Nov. 21. Shuttles run every half hour.

Also during the pre-Christmas season, parking is free in any city lot on Saturdays for two hours, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sundays are always free.
