On Saturday, the Campbell River team  was trounced. Gavin Kirk scored a first period goal assisted by Joel Zigay. Kirk then picked up a pass from Aaron Kasper and scored again. Bradon Senft from Ryan Litoski and Clay McClimon followed suit.

Litoski, from Colby Gwillim and Sasha Perron tallied in the second before Will Jacques clinched the runaway lead in the third, helped by Kasper and Kirk.

Sooke led West Shore early Sunday after Litoski got the opening goal unassisted. The second goal was a masterful deke by Jacques off passes from Joel Zigay and Gwillim. In the second, the Grizzlies score twice before Kirk restored the Sooke lead, assisted by Jacques.

The Grizzlies then scored three. Despite a nice rally goal by Clay McClimon late in the second, helped by Donald Sudlow and Litoski, West Shore got a few more through and finished with a 9-4 win.
