One of the best things about this time of year out on the boat is the sunsets just like this one at Sunny Shores Resort Marina. As for fishing, winter chinooks continue to reward anglers venturing out onto the saltchuck. Fishing right on the bottom anywhere from 60’ of water to 180’ is producing. The fish are feeding on the vast amounts of herring in the area. Purple Haze squirts and hootchies with a little pink, as well as coyote or Palco spoons in the 3 to 4” sizes behind a hot spot flasher works well. Also try a Tomic plug in the 4 to 5” sizes. Until next time. Keep your rod tip up! Kiwi Magic
