But until they’ve walked, skipped, hopped, danced or ridden in one, one of life’s critical components will remain unknown. They (you) have an ideal opportunity coming up on December 7 because, let’s face it, parades don’t happen every day. We’re talking about the Sooke Santa Parade launching at 12:30 p.m. from the marshaling area on Anna Marie Road. This is a fun and colourful way to show your friends, neighbours, and customers you’ve got ‘festive’ down pat... that you’re a community-minded team player! If it’s true that everyone loves a parade then here’s another truism: the more the merrier! Get into it... what’s the worst that could happen?... sore muscles from waving, smiling and tossing candy canes? Nonsense! We need a parade and the parade needs you.
