Smooth running
Not a peep of protest was present for day two of the cross-Canada Olympic Torch Relay, October 31 in Sooke.
Wind and heavy rain rinsed the opening festivities but not enough to slow down the agenda, and the 14 runners taking part.
The local installment concluded across the road from Edward Milne Community School where the moist mob warmed up with a complementary breakfast while the flame was transported to Metchosin, and subsequently up-Island.
