Toys for Kids
Published: December 02, 2008 5:00 PMEvery year, for the last 23 years, the Sooke Lioness Lions have collected and distributed toys to local children in need.
In 2007 toys were distributed to 421 children and teenagers. This year they are once again asking for donations of new and clean used toys, games, clothing and books.
The toys boxes will be located at various locations including: Canada Post, Lady Lynns, People’s Drug Mart, Royal Canadian Legion, Royal Bank, Sooke Home Hardware, Western Foods, Sooke Power Supplies, Shoppers Drug Mart, Seaparc, Sooke Region Museum, Jo’s Hair Design, 17 Mile House, CIBC, Village Foods, Coast Capital, Kemp Lake Store and the Sooke Senior’s Centre.
