Hang-glider succumbs to injuries

The 60-year-old Chemainus man involved in a hang-gliding incident on Mount Maxwell has died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

Lyn Blenkinsop, Vancouver Island’s regional coroner, confirmed that Marvin Trudeau died on Thursday, Aug. 26. She said the precise cause of death is under investigation.
