It was a happy homecoming for former Cowichan Thunderbird Jason McKinnon Friday.
McKinnon, now playing for Vancouver Island University, led his team to a convincing 111-59 victory over Camosun College in an exhibition basketball contest at Cowichan Secondary School.
Cowichan’s Jordan Weisner was scratched from the Camosun lineup due to injury.
