Don't just take your dog for any walk this Sunday, join the Go For Guide Dogs Walk and Family Fun Day at Beaver Lake.
Giant furballs Marty the Marmot from the Victoria Salmon Kings and Seamore the Seal from the Victoria Seals will be on hand to celebrate this fundraiser for the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind association.
More than just a dog social, there'll be treats for dogs and prizes, free pizza and soft drinks for all participants (while supplies last).
Money raised goes towards training dogs and teaching people who are blind how to benefit from a professionally trained guide dog.
Registration is 9:30 a.m. for the five kilometre walk, which starts at 10:30 a.m.
There'll be a ScallyWaggs dog agility demo at 11:30 a.m.
