Drivers needed
SVSS needs more volunteer drivers to take clients to medical appointments. Our drivers are taking holidays and people need to get to the doctor. No special insurance is needed and we pay 30 cents/km. We also need an on-call driver to take some ladies to a Wednesday afternoon meeting. If you can help us call Heather at 250-595-8008.
Seeking male visitors and home repair volunteers
We have a few gentlemen who are waiting for a male to volunteer to go to visit them once a week or so. Perhaps go for a walk, go to a coffee shop and chat. We also need more people who can do minor home repairs such as fixing a door or a leaky tap. Call Heather at 250-595-8008.
