Some leaves are still clinging onto their branches, but many took a beating on Sunday.
Heavy winds marked the final transition to fall weather, said Environment Canada meteorologist David Jones.
"We're going to get soaked from here on in," Jones said.
On Sunday, wind gusts varied from 30 to 50 km/hr around Victoria, topping at 70 km/hr at Race Rocks.
We can expect more wet and windy weather to end the week, he said.
Though temperatures will be a pleasant 13 and 14 C, expect lots of rain of Thursday - between 20 to 40 mm - and lighter showers on Friday as well.
