A Taste of Spain: Flamenco Feria takes place Oct. 18 at the Marriott Victoria Inner Harbour, 728 Humboldt St. A fundraiser for the Flamenco de la Isla Society, the performance is highlighted by a flamenco dance by Victoria’s celebrated troupe, Alma de Espana.

Tickets are available at Munro’s and Ivy’s books, Chronicles of Crime and Larsen Music. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. For more info call 250-384-8832.

Laughs at Legion

The fourth annual ComedyFest, presented by the Canadian Police Association, takes place Friday, Oct. 17 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #172, 622 Admirals Rd. at 8 p.m. Featured comics include Erica Sigurdson, Graham Clark and Jarrett Paul Mass.

The event is a fundraiser for the CPA toward support of the Canadian Resource Centre for Victims of Crime. Tickets available at the door or by calling 1-800-268-7371.
