Jekyll and Hyde through Halloween at Craigdarroch
Updated: October 23, 2009 10:18 AM
Never has a split personality been so entertaining as it is in The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, a live performance put on at Craigdarroch Castle from now through to Halloween.
The show is being put on by Giggling Iguana Productions to celebrate 10 "spooktacular" years of Craigdarroch plays.
The beautiful interiors of the castle serve as the setting for Robert Louis Stevenson's classic story of a brilliant doctor whose discovery of a unique compound releases an unbridled monster from within – Edward Hyde.
The show runs twice daily on Friday and Saturday (Oct. 23 and 24) at 7 and 9 p.m. There are 8 p.m. shows on Oct. 27-29, and a 7 and 9 p.m. show on Oct. 30 and 31.
Tickets are $25 plus GST and must be purchased in advance by calling 250-592-5323.
As a reminder, this is not a seated performance as the play takes place through Craigdarroch Castle. There are 87 stairs and it is not wheelchair accessible.
