Saanich hosts Halloween warm up and teen event
Before the kids head out on a candy laden march Saturday night they can enjoy a one-stop festival at Tillicum shopping centre. Families are invited to the mall's Halloween Spooktacular, with trick or treating, crafts, a bouncy castle and spirited carnival games at Pearkes Recreation Centre.
Craft Station at Tillicum mall: 2-4 p.m.
Trick or Treating at Tillicum mall: 2-3 p.m.
Pearkes arena Carnival Games: 3-4:30 p.m.
Acres of Lions to play teen Hallofest
The teen centre at Saanich Commonwealth Place is handing out candy for the ears Saturday night with a solid local lineup of indy bands.
Acres of Lions, the Kickoff and Look, Medusa! are all on the bill.
So is sumo wrestling, horizontal bungee, a rockband competition and prizes.
Tickets are $10, ages 13-18 only. Doors at 7 p.m., show until 11 p.m.
