From Shakespeare to Batman, University of Victoria faculty study a gamut of cultural phenomena.
On Oct. 26, you can hear some of them speak at the 2009 UVic Author Celebration as UVic authors read from some the 144 books they’ve published over the past year. Topics include literature, art, music, poetry, political science, history, law, medicine and indigenous studies.
The celebration happens from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the university bookstore. Admission is free but parking is $2. For more information visit http://library.uvic.ca/site/authors.
