The Parkland senior boys soccer team will face Glenlyon Norfolk in the battle for the Colonist Cup.

Parkland Panthers downed Oak Bay, the defending cup champions, 1-0 at the University of Victoria in semi-final action of the annual soccer cup championship.

Paul Foehl scored the lone goal while Shane Gallagher earned yet another shutout this season.

In the other semi final game, Stelly’s secondary dropped the game 0-1 to Glenlyon Norfolk to be knocked out of competition.

The Parkland Panthers and GNS Gryphons will play for the Colonist Cup on Monday, at 7 p.m., at Centennial Stadium. Gates open at 6:30.

Next Parkland will focus on the Island championship Thursday and Friday at St. Michaels University School, while Stelly’s will head to AAA Island championships in Campbell River.
