Harper says hello to Peninsula

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Minister of Natural Resources Gary Lunn, Saanich Gulf Islands incumbent MP, greeted supporters at the Victoria International Airport in North Saanich on Wednesday. Also at the gathering to shore up local support were other south Island Conservative candidates including former Central Saanich police officer Jack McClintock, who is running in Victoria.

Harper met with the media at the Coast Victoria Harbourside Hotel and Marina in the morning, then took time to meet with Saanich Peninsula supporters at the airport before boarding his jet to Vancouver where he will attend an evening rally.
