ShareFerry sailing cancelled

The 5 p.m. ferry from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen is cancelled for today (Nov.29). The Spirit of British Columbia's 11 a.m. sailing was forced to return to Tsawwassen due to a medical emergency onboard, according to BC Ferries. As a result the vessel is 90 minutes behind schedule. Because of the delay, the 5 p.m. departing Swartz Bay and the 7 p.m. departing Tsawwassen were cancelled. Reservation holders will be accommodated on the next available sailings.
Customers with reservations for the 5 p.m. departing Swartz Bay will be moved to the 7 p.m. ustomers with reservations for the 7 pm departing Tsawwassen will be moved to the 9 p.m. The 9 p.m. sailing of the Spirit of British Columbia is expected to leave Swartz Bay on time.
