The Feed the Soul musicians raised $800 during a recent concert at St. Mary’s Anglican church in Saanichton. Of those donations, $200 went to the Tsawout longhouse rebuilding fund and $600 for the Sidney Lions Food Bank.
The compilation CD of 17 original acoustic-style songs from nine different local acts has now sold almost 500 copies and raised $2,000 since it was first launched, with $2,600 in proceeds raised for the Sidney Lions Food Bank so far.
