A clerk is shaken up but uninjured after an early evening robbery in the 2000-block of Oak Bay Avenue Wednesday evening.

At about 7:30 p.m. a man walked into Oak Bay Lady Fitness Dynamics, pushed a female clerk against the wall behind the counter, and grabbed a small amount of money from the till, police said.

The clerk, in her early 20s, was working alone but was not injured. The robber fled the scene on foot southbound on Mitchell Street. No weapon was used in the incident.

Police are looking for the man, described as Caucasian, about six feet tall, 35 years old, and wearing black ball cap, black hoodie and black pants. Investigators are looking into whether the thief could be the same one who robbed a nearby pizza shop three months ago.
