Castle hosts classic thriller
David Radford as Dr. Jekyll performs in Giggling Iguana Productions’ current rendition of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde at Craigdarroch Castle.
Jekyll and Hyde continues through Halloween at Craigdarroch
Never has a split personality been so entertaining as it is in The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, a live performance being staged at Craigdarroch Castle.
The show is being put on by Giggling Iguana Productions to celebrate 10 “spooktacular” years of Craigdarroch plays.
The beautiful interiors of the castle serve as the setting for Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic story of a brilliant doctor whose discovery of a unique compound releases an unbridled monster from within – Edward Hyde.
There are 7 and 9 p.m. shows tonight (Oct. 30) and Saturday.
Tickets are $25 plus GST and must be purchased in advance by calling 250-592-5323.
As a reminder, this is not a seated performance as the play takes place throughout Craigdarroch Castle.
Given the castle has no elevators and 87 stairs, it is not wheelchair accessible.
