Students, staff, and faculty of the University of Victoria will gather with their children for a “play-in” this Thursday (Sept. 24) to highlight the child care shortage on campus.
Proponents say the lack of child care spaces reduces study time and teaching preparation for many individuals. The event happens at the Petch Fountain by the McPherson Library at UVic, from 3 to 5 p.m.
