Movie Monday goes Bollywood
One of Bollywood’s greatest hits is screening at Movie Monday next week.
Om Shanti Om is a romantic comedy with lots of music, just as much dancing and plenty of Indian film stars. It plays at 6:30 p.m., Nov. 2 at the Eric Martin Pavilion in the 1900 block of Fort Street. Admission is free. Go to www.moviemonday.ca for a schedule of upcoming films.
PupArt creator showing at Eclectic
From Nov. 2 to 28 Eclectic Gallery hosts the works of Marion Morrison, who won best in show at the 2009 Sidney Fine Arts Show.
Creator of PupArt, which focuses on dogs, the local artist will attend a reception at the gallery Nov. 5 from 7-9 p.m. Eclectic is at 2170 Oak Bay Ave.
