The 5th Garry Oak Scout Group is hosting its registration night for all ages, Sept. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the hall on Monterey Avenue (beside the police station and fire hall).
Boys and girls are welcome in all Scouting groups. Parents must bring their child's care card number and pertinent medical information, emergency phone numbers and a cheque for payment.
Weekly meeting times for the divisions are as follows:
• Beavers (5-7 years) – Mondays, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• Cubs (8-10) – Tuesdays, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
• Scouts (11-14) – Thursdays, 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The 5th Garry Oak Scout Group annual general meeting will follow at 8 p.m.
