The Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary has various family friendly programs to connect young children with animals and the outdoors this summer.
Coming up is biology buddies, a series of four two-hour sessions for kids aged 4-6.
The dates are Aug. 10, 12, 17 and 19, either from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. or 1 to 3 p.m. Cost is $45 and pre-registration is required.
