Recreation Oak Bay is targeting the teen market with a series of summer programs and one-day adventures in July and August.
On July 22, ‘Obstacle and Zip Line Adventure’ offers an exciting day at Wild Play Element Park In Nanaimo, where teens participate in the Tree Course; an obstacle course with zip lines, suspended bridges, scramble nets and swinging logs.
In ‘Paintball Fun’ July 29, teens can play up to 10 games on five different fields at TNT Paintball in Metchosin. ‘Summer Fun in Victoria’ (Aug. 5) offers teens the opportunity to be a tourist in their own town, play volleyball at the Strathcona Hotel rooftop courts, have a pizza lunch, play boccé in Beacon Hill Park and take in an IMAX movie in the afternoon.
Exhilaration awaits on Aug. 12 at Playland amusement park in Vancouver, during ‘Playland Fun.’ And what summer would be complete without a ‘Back to School Shopping Trip’ to Richmond Mall (Aug. 26)?
Multi-day camps are also still available in a variety of activities for youth aged 11 to 16.
