For the first time in nearly 10 years TSN will air Canadian rugby. TSN announced it will carry ESPN's feed of Saturday's World Cup qualifier between Canada and the U.S.A. in Charleston, South Carolina.

Game time is 1 p.m. PST.

Because of the TV slot the local match between the Vancouver Island representative Crimson Tide and the visiting Ballymena RFC of Northern Ireland will be moved from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday at Bullen Park in Esquimalt.

A number of Victoria and Victoria-based players will be playing for Team Canada in the first of a home and away series against U.S.A. The second match taking is on July 11 in Edmonton, Alta., and will be webcast by on www.TSN.ca.

The next Rugby World Cup is 2011 in New Zealand.
