Living life at the fort

Authentic uniforms, gear and weapons from British colonial-era and Canadian militaries are on display at Fort Rodd Hill National Historic Site this weekend.

Learn the interesting and funny stories of life at the fort and West Coast military history spanning the 1850s to the 1950s, including Canada's role in the lend-lease program to keep the Soviet Union supplied during the Second World War.

The Fort Rodd Hill military re-enactement camp continues Sunday, Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a small arms firing demonstration at 2 p.m.
