RCMP nabs suspected drug trafficker

West Shore RCMP busted a suspected 26-year-old Langford drug trafficker Wednesday.
Police searched a residence and two vehicles in the 800 block of Orono Avenue, seizing six grams of cocaine, several bags of pot, anabolic steroids, two prohibited weapons and cash.
Cpl. Gerry Sutherland said RCMP isn’t releasing what kind of weapons were seized or the amount of cash, as they continued to investigate other suspects.
Police also seized and towed the two vehicles. The man was seen driving while prohibited during the investigation, Sutherland said.
West Shore RCMP encourages anybody who witnesses suspicious activity or drug trafficking in their neighbourhood to call the detachment at 250-474-2264 or Crimestoppers at 250-386-8477 (TIPS).
