Guitar whiz, former punker team up for Hermann’s show

Guitar virtuoso Don Ross shares the stage with singer-songwriter and life partner Brooke Miller in a show tonight (Nov. 28) at Hermann’s Jazz Club.

Montreal-born Ross has won the U.S. National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship twice (1988 and 1996). Miller left P.E.I. in 2003 to join a punk band, but has veered toward a more folksy sound. Her debut CD is titled Lending an Hourglass. The two are also romantically linked.

Doors at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.
