A flood of concerts takes over the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre this month, as five major performances by internationally known artists are on the docket.

The rockin' starts this Saturday (Nov. 7) with Grammy award winners Stone Temple Pilots and continues next week with three back-to-back-to-back shows.

On Monday (Nov. 16) it's hard rockers Three Days Grace, followed on Tuesday by melodious Canadian songstress Jann Arden. Pop rock-soul singer Kelly Clarkson, winner of the first American Idol in 2002, winds up the week with a Wednesday night show.

Veteran country rock band Blue Rodeo makes another appearance in the Garden City on Tuesday, Nov. 24 to round out the month.

The openings are largely due to the Victoria Salmon Kings being out of town around those dates. The ECHL hockey team travels to Boise to take on the Idaho Steelheads for a three game series Nov. 18, 20 and 21 and is back home Nov. 27-28 for a weekend set with the Ontario Reign.

Tickets for the concerts and the hockey can be purchased at www.selectyourtickets.com, by phone at 250-220-7777 or at the arena box office.
