The most elaborate Christmas yard and the most decorative Christmas window in Langford could earn more than just community admiration this year.
To pump up the holiday spirit, Langford is launching its first Christmas decoration contest this year, sweetened with $500 cash prizes. Residents are encouraged to decorate their house and yard, and businesses are encouraged to create a storefront window display. A three-judge panel will select the winners shortly before Langford’s Christmas Light Up on Dec. 5. To have your house or business judged, e-mail contests@cityoflangford.ca.
