Annual broom heli-lift at Mill Hill
Mill Hill Regional Park in Langford will be closed Thursday, Oct. 8 to allow removal of scotch broom by helicopter.

Community Fire Drill today
Residents across the Capital Region are asked to create a home escape plan for the Community Fire Drill.
Local television stations are scheduled to broadcast the fire drill at 6:30 p.m., Oct. 7. People should conduct an escape plan and meet at a pre-determined point outside their home.
