One of the planet’s sweetest treats has been called a cure for pain, heart disease and now breast cancer.
Until Oct. 21, Rogers Chocolates, Thrifty Foods and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s B.C./Yukon Region have collaborated on a chocolate-covered cure.
All proceeds from Roger’s Pink Ribbon Raspberry Swirl Chocolate Creams will go toward breast cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, research and emerging issues in health care.
The treats are available at 21 Thrifty Foods locations on the Island and Lower Mainland.
“We are grateful for their support as we begin to implement our plan and see an end to breast cancer by 2020,” the cancer foundation’s chair Greg D’Avignon said.
