In an article titled “Motocross back at 7 Mile” published in the October 15th edition of the Gazette, it was reported that Kayla Peffers fell off her bike at the base of a jump Saturday during the first ladies race, however everyone finished the race.
This accident should not be confused with one in the Sunday ladies race when Paisley Randall, fell and did not finish the race. Kayla Peffers avoided that accident.
About 160 riders competed in the Thanksgiving races.
