Peewees roll

Curtis McCarrick had three goals and three assists and Liam Ryan added a hat trick Sunday as the North Island Eagles peewees overwhelmed Comox B 15-3 in rep placement action in Comox.

Nick Klein-Beekman, Brett Walker and Chad Bell had two goals each while Riley Browne was a three-assist playmaker in the lopsided romp.

The game was the only one of the weekend for the peewees, who took part with the Eagles’ atom development team in a Hockey Canada skills development camp in Port Hardy Saturday.

Brayden Belleville had a goal and two assists and Justin Powell a goal and an assist in the win.

Bell and Tyson Cadwallader each had two assists, while Klein-Beekman, Brandon Pelletier, Tyren Dustin and Coltton Slater had one each.

Riley Mathieson and Clayton Ellis each played a half in goal for the winners.
