HOLBERG – A Campbell River man is dead following a logging accident.
The accident was reported to Port Hardy about 7:30 a.m. July 9. RCMP, BC Ambulance Service and first aid attendants from Western Forest Products responded to the report.
Steven Venuti, 43, was proclaimed dead at the scene on Ronning Main logging road near Holberg said Port Hardy RCMP in a press release.
The logger was employed by Arkley Forest Services out of Vancouver.
