Dear editor,
While Brent Reid has experience in the education field, he is only one voice.
There are many experienced educators in our Valley and not all of them agree with him.
I find it amusing that this is the same man who at a public meeting said that reconfiguration does not affect most teachers. May I suggest that he is out of touch?
A reconfiguration would affect all teachers, as it will cost money to do so; taking away resources from students and classrooms at all levels.
Maybe he should get back into some of our schools that are seeing successes in the K-7; 8-12 configuration. He should think broader than the “good old days.”
