Published: October 02, 2008 6:00 PMThe Women’s Business Network’s October meeting will feature Tara Laderoute, owner of Engrave It and facilitator for Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
Laderoute will incorporate Covey’s philosophies into some activities and demonstrations to develop brainstorming and critical thinking about what you can do to gain a stronger perspective on how to plan your day and develop a sense of calm in your life.
Laderoute is a facilitator for 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens and has completed the coursework for 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and 4 Roles of Leadership.
With a degree in special education and a family home that consists of strictly testosterone, she will share stories and activities to allow you to reflect on how your day, week, month and year can become more objective and peaceful.
The open networking segment of the meeting starts Oct. 9 at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be at 6:30. The cost for the event is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.

The September meeting of the Women’s Business Network was a great success.
Lara Austin, president of the WBN, noted that “having 85 purposeful professional and business women in one room created an energy on its own, and the September meeting was successful because everyone was willing to participate with thoughts, ideas and strategies to help colleagues.”
