The season for craft shows is upon us. You can catch the Christmas Bazaar this Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Community Centre from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. You will find homemade crafts, quilts, knitting and baking on sale. At the same time there will be an art show, a pottery show and an auction featuring work from community centre classes.
At the Sportsplex you can check out the Annual Pottery Show and Sale from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. This event features the work of potters from Campbell River, Quadra Island and the Comox Valley. A great chance to pick up those early Christmas gifts.
Kids in the Kitchen is a fun class for Grades 4-6 that takes place in the Sportsplex. Kids learn how to make great snacks and meals as well as learning about kitchen safety and basic nutrition. The class starts on Monday, Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. The cost is $40.
