Christmas comes early at the Campbell River Art Gallery.
It all begins with Gift Shop Manager and Christmas Market coordinator, Christine Kufner and volunteers, ensuring that the inventory shows quality, quantity and variety in a range of prices.
Autumn always moves along much faster than expected. Suddenly, it’s time to make the gallery market-ready.
Volunteers help staff with many aspects of the market, such as creating attractive display areas, decorating with a traditional christmas style and conjuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The main exhibition gallery will be transformed into a glittering boutique of locally hand-crafted treasures over the coming two weeks. All the work will be artfully displayed. Visitors are always astounded at the quality and amount of beautiful work created locally.
The Art Gallery Christmas Art & Craft Market opens its doors on Nov. 13 at noon. The after work crowd will be treated to refreshments at 5 p.m. The Gallery closes at 7 p.m. From then till Christmas Eve the shop hours are 10 a.m. till 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
