Rob Harris and his staff from White Hat Cleaners has been collecting and cleaning coats for all ages to distribute to the less fortunate in our community. Every autumn and winter for the past 13 years, White Hat Cleaners has cleaned an abundance of jackets, sleeping bags, blankets and delivered them to The Salvation Army for distribution. The Sally Ann passes the coats on to those in need through the Lighthouse Centre, The emergency shelter and on the sandwich van run. This year Jim Costain, owner of the local Dairy Queen has joined the campaign, offering his establishment as a collection site for coats. Both, White Hat cleaners and Dairy Queen will have large yellow totes in their stores to receive your donations of Jackets and coats. Drop by either location and contribute to a warmer and cozier winter for many.
