Three Campbell River businesses – T-MAR Industries Ltd. (Engineering and Island SRED Excellence in Innovation award category); Hilmark Boats Inc. (Value Added Products award category); and Chameleon Creative Graphic and Web Design Inc. (VIU New Media award category) – are among the Finalists in the running for the fourth annual MISTIC Science, Technology & Innovation Awards.
Vancouver Island is well known in the province, in Canada and globally for its ground breaking work in areas ranging from aquaculture technology to green energy solutions.
On Nov. 5, 2 the 4th Annual MISTIC Science, Technology & Innovation Awards takes place at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre during National Technology Week. Thirty-nine finalists have been selected from the 94 nominations in 13 awards categories.
MISTIC presents these awards to highlight and recognize companies and individuals that have demonstrated passion, commitment, sound business practices and innovative thinking.
