Campbell River businesses Daigle Welding & Marine; Upper Cervical Store; York Portable Machine Tools; Discovery Diesel; T-Mar Industries; Sealand Aviation; Renuable Resources; Wavemaster Net Services; BC Centre for Aquatic Health Sciences; Hilmark Boats Inc.; Aboriginal Aquaculture Association; Chameleon Creative Graphic and Web Design Inc.; Timberwright Manufacturing Inc.; and Mile High Log Homes Ltd. are among the nominated businesses for the 4th annual MISTIC Science, Technology & Innovation Awards.
The awards will be presented by the Mid-Island Science, Technology & Innovation Council (MISTIC) at a gala banquet on Nov. 5 at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in Nanaimo, starting at 6 p.m.
The MISTIC Science, Technology & Innovation Awards were created in 2006 to highlight and recognize the many knowledge-based businesses located in the Mid and North Vancouver Island including the Sunshine Coast.
