Who says private care is better?
Two weeks ago I had a minor stroke. Five minutes after arriving at the emergency at NRGH, I was in bed with an IV in my arm and doctors buzzing around ordering tests.
Fortunately, there was no major damage. The nurses and doctors could not treat me any better even if I was Gordon Campbell.
I was taken to the fourth floor — the nurses, housekeepers, all staff were superb. Had I been paying for private hospital care it could not be as good.
Thanks to all the staff, I am doing fine.
