This letter is to offer a belated welcome and thank you to the new owners of the Coombs General Store.
Last year, the general store closed for a while, and we were told that our postal boxes would be moved.
I am grateful that Samara and Dale have stepped forward to continue the tradition of the Coombs General Store, and we will continue to receive our mail there.
It is also a pleasure to have the convenience of the general store available once again seven days per week.
I encourage all Coombs residents to support our store, stop in for milk or rent a movie, so that Dale and Samara can make a living offering us convenience, a dry place to pick up mail, and a centre for our community. They do a great job.
