The Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce commemorated a quarter century of serving the region's bushiness community during the 25th Fantasy Auction Saturday.

The annual fundraiser gave opportunity to enjoy a gourmet buffet provided by Live Wire catering but also to take home some bargain goodies from a vast array of silent and/or live auction and contest prizes that included vacation getaways, spa treatments, a guided salmon fishing trip and much more.

Realtor Ian Lindsay took a moment from jotting down a silent bid on a sump pump to note Re/Max chose to donate a wall of wine to this year's fundraising effort.

"It's just a way to contribute to the chamber," he said, "I selected the bottles myself."

It was representative of the many valuable donations that area businesses contributed to the Parksville Chamber marking yet another successful year for the gala event.
