City staff working on 08-09 finances
• Parksville resident Caroline Waters thanked the city for a plaque placed on the cenotaph recognizing the Canadians fighting in Afghanistan.
• Council is going to direct staff to prepare all relevant budget, property tax and other bylaws needed for the 2008-2012 financial plan for council’s consideration for approval.
• Council forwarded approval of a development permit for the Parksville McDonald’s new exterior to an upcoming council meeting. The proposed exterior features a rock face.
• Coun. Charles Robinson was not at the committee of the whole meeting.
