NANAIMO — The Port Theatre proudly presents The Vancouver Welsh Mens Choir on Sunday, October 18 at 2:30pm.
Founded in 1980 by a handful of expatriate Welshmen, the Vancouver Welsh Mens Choir has grown into a 100-man ensemble from throughout the Lower Mainland representing Canada’s cultural mosaic. The choir performs a varied repertoire of both sacred and secular music, ranging from traditional Welsh hymns, to spirituals, to opera choruses and Broadway show tunes.
